I'm Jef, 31, from Antwerp. Between feedings and little sleep, the idea for this web app took shape: something simple that parents actually use and find helpful.
How it started
Your printed card with everyone instantly, while the post is still on its way.
After birth, you want to enjoy the moment, not rush logistics. But that is exactly when the practical work starts: who already got the news, who wants a card, and which addresses are still missing.
That's why we built Geboortekaartje-online. Not to replace print, but to support it: share your card digitally right away, then prepare and send printed cards at your own pace.
That way you share the news through one link instead of ten scattered chats, and keep more time to enjoy those first days and make your printed cards extra special.
